Accident Description:
While performing plumbing work in the cellar of a building under construction in Brooklyn, our client was assisting with repairs to leaking pipes when the plumbing system was being pressure tested. During this process, a coupling that was meant to secure the pipes failed due to excessive pressure.
As a result, the pipe violently dislodged and struck our client, knocking him unconscious and causing serious injuries, including fractures to his face and eye area.
